To be, or not to be

Idk when this one was either

I stand in my room, holding my cruddy phone in my hand as I desperately await my best friend's reply. It vibrates and I rapidly slide it open and close, reading the message quickly. "I'm sorry, but this isn't working out. It's time to go our separate ways." It read.
My heart sunk as I got another message, from another friend, saying the exact same thing. Suddenly, all my friends are texting me saying the exact same thing. A few minutes later, I find myself at school, my worst enemy since elementary school, the popular girl named breezy strutting up to me.
"Look, Hun. I heard your friends ditched you. My friends ditched me. Wanna be friends?" She said simply.
"Sure, why not," I hear myself say.
We run to the bathroom together and I come out in a skimpy sleeveless red dress at school that barely went below my thighs and red high heels, my hair falling in big bouncy beach curls over my shoulders, my face drawn up with makeup, a small red hand bag clutched at my side. Breezy is at my side as we walk past the table of my old friends, glaring at them.

Author's Note

My worst fear is that my best friends would leave me and that I would have to face everything alone. Also, this would never possibly happen.

Always know that you are never alone. No matter what; like Summer said, I'll be your friend. Also...I love the kind of catty 'Mean Girls' sorta ending here...it's perfect!
