Alpha Wolf Eternity

Across liquid rolling reflections

Wind races its breath

Higher it rises, embracing life

Swirling around a bluff, all horizons view

Solid, true and proud

A Wolf stands

Into the clear blue skies a howl

The heavens opening

Heart beating an immortal embrace

 

The sun’s glory rays flow and shine

A lone Angel descends

A spiral dance of destiny

Atop this mount rising high

Fate caresses the future spirits glow

Blue eyes to ever shine bright

Ever bonded, ever together

Paws walk the world as one

A claim of the pack never to be undone

 

Through the storms that may come

Against the race of time’s long hand

With his pups he will stand

A devotion of loyalty, a powerful pledge

Over all, his voice to carry a truth

An Alpha is not one to fail

Not one or two, or three

But four does he stand for, for they are his

And he is eternally theirs

 

With an Angel always watching

Their strides shall be strong upon this world

Their future, a flag unfurled

This brought a smile to my face.. Watching the packs in Alaska was so like this.. The Alpha male in care of his pack.. willing to go to the death to protect his family.. and then the love and devotion. It reminds us of the finer things life has to offer.. x

I absolutely love this poem! It really captures the strenght, pride and devotion an alpha has to his pack. I am someone who believes very much in spirit animals and I feel as though you have truly connected and become one with your spirit animal. I can feel the unity and strength in every single word...and yet, there is something gentle and soft in the underlying tone...a balance...a true mirrowing of the wolf; strong and proud but gentle and shy...

Alpha reins supreme :) I've only ever watched one pack and they are so connected and attuned to eachother. Each would fight for one another. They have something we don't...as do you. You write so expressively, each stanza became more powerful then the previous one. It built till you could picture the Alpha standing tall and strong, protecting his pack. Then to end this piece with the reminder that we all have an Angel watching...we just sense them..as you do :) Beautiful write, once again :)
