Time

Time

A Chapter by Wolfwind

Time

It turns and twists

We dive and dance

Across the boundaries of life and chance

Hold still

Do not rush

Every beautiful moment matters

Don't let life fall to tatters

To slow it down

We wish and wait

Forever faster life must come

To be connected and make the sum

Tarry be marry

Falter and not trip

Time shall connect as it will

Be ready and joyous upon that window sill.

This is a lovely piece of writing. It really just reminded me to slow down and savor each moment for what it is because I have difficulty doing that; so I'm always grateful when I find a piece of poetry like this that reminds me to breathe and appreciate time, to "be ready and joyous upon that window sill." (very nice line!)
