Strong Ties

It's one thing to have an idea

Another to find out that idea is sound

Another yet again to realize others see that idea as good

And it blows the mind when that idea becomes reality.

The past bred new hope

Hope embraced possibilities

Possibilities are now in view

Of a good life, through and through.

Reality can sometimes be daunting

The fears can be so haunting

Yet, we had our faith to keep us strong

Now the moment nears, our new song.

An amazing day

Came in an unsuspecting way

Crossing the threshold of life

Removing lingering stress and cages of strife.

Together we shall stand

Side by side, feet in the sand

As the sage as our witness

Our life begins new and grand.

The heavens had painted our picture

From the waters blue to sunshine bright

Together we held our love

We knew it true, it fit like a glove.

Our fears have faded and gone

The music plays to treasured crescendo

Hand to hand, eyes to eyes

Our life as one, strong ties.
