Ode' to Ink that's ShyA Poem by WolfwindThoughts, words and the things we say Do you see how much, upon the soul, they play? Of interests, queries, ideas and more An honest tapestry upon a bright sunny shore
From someplace where the sky is big Upon a horse under those star filled heavens There is ink that brings fine joy Every line, every word Every idea… A peaceful envoy
Perhaps it’s the divine cube of sugar That drives the hooves of creation to trot? Or maybe…the love of imaginations flow Keeping the ink rolling along, you know?
Each page is new, every line a different vision Emotions and feelings inserted, carefully with fine precision Stanzas crafted with skill and care Surely poetry that is beyond compare
In either case of any way Upon the grassy plains and hills Forests and river spills Mountains high and an eagles cry
There is a poet who pens her trade Who may be “Shy” Yet, her ink will never fade © 2012 WolfwindFeatured Review
