Coursing the SoulA Poem by WolfwindSteps, like that of a road Plotted and planned, executed into distance Stone paved, smooth and rugged, rocks and sand roll Timed to cadence of none by one’s own tug of the rope Working, ever working to toll lines of life Ever more thinking, thought, pondering the sunrises Sunsets ending the light of a hazy horizon Onward, upward and nowhere realizations bloom Spun by the loom of yarns warm catch Memories woven, integrated souls upon light Holding, patience patented by due course A course set in heavens bright
To sail upon dunes Watery ways washing, running, relenting nothing Quake grounded paths, parted into fractal emotive cracks The land ends, lamenting, lost, leaving upon choices spurious No love, no likes, despair vanishing, clouded judgment chimes Tolling the bells of burgundy’s pulsating push To row upon the envious, leading the blind Eyes shut upon the heavens thread Discourse diminishing direction, all ahead
Temperance, none Round, the world turns not against the grit and grime Ghosts haunt the sublime heritage of an antiquities line The line A line Thee line, now destructively met upon thorns of cowardice All revealing, concealed not in the mists of time The end before the altar Foremost and free to unveiling The lamb upon the Dias A lost sheep © 2012 WolfwindReviews
