Along the Paths

Along the Paths

A Poem by Wolfwind

It doesn’t matter where or when

I know the places that we’ve been

Things do happen

Things do change

Sometimes things must re-arrange

Our paths did cross by Gods good hand

Drawn in a line upon the sand

We met, we learned

We thought we knew

But time showed, there was another clue

Away we parted and that’s okay

Neither of us will be lost, we remember the way

We loved, we laughed

We’ve got each others backs

If there’s ever something the other lacks

I was reminded today

The future is an unwritten way

A granddaughter of a golden sage did speak

The Lord’s will is in all things

Even the muses that pull our strings

So go with God and I will too

If our paths are to cross once more

He’ll show us each that special door

To walk through on that day

If it’s to be, it’ll be okay

Never forget the love we shared

You’ve got a friend in me, forever

That bond to fail, never

I doubt we’ll ever be that far

Our eyes gazing at the same bright star
