The Howling WindsA Poem by WolfwindThe wisdom can hurt even if the truth is solidWhat is felt is different than what is known The emotions of a journey’s cadence is chaos While the knowledge is sure feet upon the ground What happens must happen Intuition to be tempered by wisdom How becomes the winds of chaos and sorrow
Pure sighted realities see far distances The wolf and the man are integrally tied No separating fur from flesh The spirit, soul, flesh and blood All flowing upon the Earth as one Time bares no malice and pain shall be persevered
Speaking are the sundered Broken yes, but in times long ago It was the desert glow that once again wove life whole Threads have now been severed Patience I shall have and must have But I haven’t a home to which to return
Disregarding all falsehoods for they mattered not All things crooked would straighten in times graces This within the knowing was true Have and take all of which I am and might ever be Becoming anything else floods the spirit with weakness Granting you all strength that is within, I always will
Destiny and the course came clear in the mask Within the square and holdings of antiquities the path awakened Expectations of mountains and storms to be sure Yet, the journey is one made of two Two of uniqueness upon any horizon that may shine, together Solve the puzzle, for you I pray, for you I stand. © 2012 WolfwindFeatured Review
