“The Heart Poetic”

There is a shimmering

A floating current of Beautiful
Flowing endlessly through every moment

From the smallest second… to the longest day.
These precious ribbons of light… reaching

Unto every corner of the world.

Occasionally it'll glow

Through the center of a person's heart
Through their actions and the words they speak
Tying more people in

Weaving them unconditionally

Into this harmonious cycle of Beauty.

When you see it

This glistening river, moving quick,
Glittering joyously after a rainy day.
Know it is not a miracle of illusionary light
But the embrace of a living string

Tying together humanity and nature
A very real rainbow

Flowing through all the Poets' hearts.

I like how you clarify the "3" bold words in this... and a dedication of the poet(s) cycle to create and become one with the world of his/her imagination... Beautiful - Beauty - Poets' and yet the final word was heart... we do speak volume from there and our mind just does its best to catch up...

What separate a poet from any other person is his generous ability to share the beauty he sees. any person may experience or see something beautiful and would just keep such beauty to himself but a poet would not be content in just savoring such beauty rather he makes it to a point to let other feel such beauty through words coming from his heart. i don't know if i am making sense in here but it's my way of saying that i enjoyed reading this. very well penned.

love this...yes we are all connected by an invisible string of energy. Stunning poetry. And I love mosaic art...little pieces, like people, all inter-connected...so appropriate.
