The day opens with a stirring of the heart
The sun beats with strength along joy's shore
The steps you make are smiles to those who love you
For every day you grace them with beauty in everything you do.
You are the amazing that blossoms in a smile
You are the light in which people feel safe to dream
The song of your voice becomes the chime of the heavens
Your ideas fly aloft like sparkling rainbow angels
Each moment, every imprint that you make
Upon each glorious day of living
Reminds me why I care.

Thought I'd give a review for a review...Than again Gandhi did say an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind, but I think this can be an exception :). As for the poem it definitely has a feeling of love towards someone. Someone you want to wake up next to every day just to see. Someone... you feel you can't live without. And if that's the case than I wish you the best of luck and don't lose 'em ;).

A wonderful freeverse from a heart that beats strong with love and laughter always. I think it is Amazing in its Amazingness captured by an Amazing artist of the written word. ;) (forgive me but I had to...wouldn't be me if I didn't ;) I liked it very much and even took a glance in the mirror ...wouldn't anyone like to be all that you described? :) Such a stunning piece of amazing work Sir Wolf :)

Not bad. I think the use of 'amazing' in the middle of the poem is a little underwhelming, from how overused that word is these days - perhaps something more poetic would be appropriate. Other than that, this is fairly well done.

Thanks. I appreciate your insight, though I'll probably leave the 'amazing' as is, for it's a word that ties the piece together on a personal level. =)
