The first step is never giving up on your dreams

It’s not the thinking about any ceasing

It’s not about that old exit door

It’s about dreaming onward and up

Where thy feet can’t stay on the floor

 

The heavens are but a serenade

Shining down upon the lovely ground

Tip up some sweet lemonade

With all those ya love around

 

The fresh scent of color and roses

Not the anchors and the pasts that weigh

It’s the bright smiles and crazy poses

That keeps a good prosperity to stay

 

Be true to your dreams and thoughts of love

Of places you wish to share your way

Step not into the quagmire’s tight glove

That’s how you keep your place to stay
