Upon ripples of the wind

Whisperings of the ocean’s voice dance

Thoughts chime with dreams

Vision paints reality

Onward

Outward

High into the setting sun

We drift eternally

 

Take us upon our journey

Sweet wings of imagination

Into the color, within the scent

The emotions of the moment embracing

Deeper

Longer

Timelessly woven, this dream

A never ceasing breath

Inhale...Exhale... My breath barely registered as I read this piece. I saw myself under that magnificent tree...my body cradled within his embrace...my back lay curled against his chest...my head tucked under his chin...one hand around his back the other lay quiet upon his bended leg...his soft whispers of love merely a murmmer to my ear...as one hand lay restful across my hip...his other gently stroking my hair...both watching the sunset across that glorious horizon...each of us knowing that soon we will explore all that love and life awaiting us...if we decide to stand linking our hands. (Yes that's what I picture as she sits breathing in her dreams atop that shadowed water...pondering as she draws breath) :)
