Dreamglow

Dreamglow

A Poem by Wolfwind

Soft, subtle, sweet

Like the caress of the morning dew

Scent so rare it incapacitates the mind

A kiss like nectar

Endless

Eyes opening

Reality splitting the soul

A clocks full spin, again damnable

The dream

The vision

Vanishing by coffee’s first swig

Every day the same

The hands, seemingly sluggish

Till…slumber, once again

A nocturnal door way

Eyes closing

Once again aware

All aglow

Soft and sensuous

Touch…the lightest feather

Ever gazing

Drinking in perfection

A storm ravaged nymph

Alone upon some Northern shore

Exposed, skin glisteningly damp

Surely diamonds sparkling

Passion burning

Again eyes open

Ringing like thundering church bells

Tolling, reverberating

Justice? Gone

With the striking of that morning hour

 Again…emptiness

That world

That deep craving want

Vanishing again upon another day

Again and again

That dream

The moment

That day

That day dream

Reality?

It’s someplace

Where there is no clock

No time

Just her.

Do you remember one of the first comments I put in the review box after I read one of your pieces?...I said that I felt a longing for a soul...the yearning to find that soul again...though at the time that soul was clear in the words...this one could be one of many...since I've gotten to know you and your works better.. :) (much to my emense joy and pleasure :) Anyway, this has that feel again..though with a touch of pleasure when asleep ..connecting to that soul..even if only when the glossy binoculars have lost their focus and the three boys (Winkin, Blinkin and Nod) have once again taken you for a sailing adventure to that soft sandy shore...where dreams become vivid reminders of what resides within your heart...
"Where there is no clock"
"No time"
"Just her."
Such a peaceful place to wander...may I go too?

Beautiful Moments Sir Wolf :)

This captured my breath. I haven't seen men that are this in touch with emotion. It is refreshing.

If there was a poem I'd read or write everyday, it would go something quite like this!

Thanks! =)
Your poem is really beautiful. It comes across as very honest- and believe me, I'm not usually a fan of poetry, but I thought that it was written so perfectly that I could really kind of visualize all of the lines in my head. Really well done.

Thanks so much! I appreciate your thoughts on my poem! =)
this reads like classical literature with all the depth and wisdom of the ancients, but has that modern melancholy which tugs at the very heart and soul, with a gentle, longing lace embroidery. a fine write, worthy of much praise!

so welcome
I love this view you give us of your dream world. This is simply lovely. What a romantic expression of love and wanting. The last stanza is my favorite. It totally screams longing and passion. Exceptional write!

I want to spend this review space quoting every single line from your poem, but I fear that would go unexplained. But then again, perhaps not..:)

Wonderful. I grew drowsy while reading this, ready to fall asleep. Your writing has actually affected me, which is rare for most people I read. Very nice write.
