A Fingers Touch

A Fingers Touch

A Poem by Wolfwind

Upon the rising moon dusted horizon

The world spins upon a suns new ray

The day kisses the nights past

A memory, ever lasting across the strata of thought

Brushed by air, the senses blossom aloft

High upon the eyes, the gaze returns all glory

Like a dream of old, the new day laughs

A reminder of naked ideas, running free

Opus of magnums grand design, dripping

Flowing on and on, upon our cherished silence

Our secrets entombing a whispered desire

A breath, which surely makes our heart jump

We see and share

We do and dare

In those twilight moments

When only two hands intertwine

This is a fantastic piece of work. I can see all of the imagery that you've portrayed perfectly within my mind. In the first stanza, you captured me and planted a seed in my head, which you willed to grow throughout the rest of the poem.
Magically written, beautifully accomplished.

IT'S... BEAUTIFUL...
I like the part where the moon rises and then the planet spins and then the day and the night start kissing and then the memory jumps out there and then some senses start blossoming cause of the air and then there's eyes and more dreams and laughter and then the part where the ideas take off all their clothes and then the part with words I don't understand and then the words I don't understand flow along merrily and can't think of anything to talk about and then the secrets are keeping desires hostage, and then I like the part where the breath scares someone's heart and then some hands hold each other. That was a good part. :D

You're welcome! :D
By the ending I fell in love with the story. An explaination of the the moon cresting and dawn springing anew. (that's how it read to my eyes) How we dream within the dark and in the light of a new day can experience each one. The companionship between the moon and sun...Luna and The Day's Soul...is never broken.. never one without the other slowly following behind...even if by only "A Fingers Touch" are they connected. Your third stanza has me perplexed kinda..well not perplexed so much as seeing a loving connection between two souls...and wishing it was as easy as the words you have written. Amazing man/gift/treasure/wonder you are :)
