Etherium BlindA Chapter by WolfwindBlind in Etherium’s light My voice shouts words never heard Never seen Never known Only echos ride away Man walks on by
Frustration crawls upon my skin Screaming madness encompasses my mind Faltering Stumbling I run towards life’s sheltered shadows Darkness spins An eternal twist of chance A dread fear of happenstance
One breath One hearts wish One minds dream No time I scream
The kisses of fate’s chains Catching my soul Yanking Pulling Dragging it down Onto my knees I cry below and beg above
Where has the light gone? Where did the dreams drift? Where is my hearts key? How did the lights fade? Why did the dreams die? Is my heart really alone?
With tired eyes filled with clouds There is a want to reach up and feel The emotions I once walked before Tired of the tears that come Tired of the ache that I feel Tired of this dark Shadowed kiss I taste
Mirrors whisper of a choice Windows speak of a decision Doors open Doors lock Which door is mine to the light? How do I know which is right? How can I climb while I’m chained? How do I break this metal tight? How do I let my soul take flight?
One breath One hearts wish One minds dream No time I scream
A nocturnal fear burns my life blood My strife boils in darkened quicksand All hearts must weep For those tears that seep Endless voices shout their ire Let them go! Can I not find a peaceful sleep? No!
Thunder pounds in my ears Lighting continues to strike Making more of my fears I try to breathe I try to wish I try to dream Time stops Like broken clocks All just mock It’s the end The beginning died It’s all I can do...
