Do you remember the eyes of March?

The ones that would follow you everywhere you stepped.

They were the red ones, or perhaps blue, or maybe green.

They used to frighten you and make you scream.

Do you remember the eyes of May?

The one’s that would always blink and light up your room.

They were the yellow ones, or perhaps pink, or maybe orange.

They use to give you those horrible and frightening nightmares.

Do you remember the eyes of September?

The one’s that would streak past you during the storms.

They were the one’s that would constantly change colors.

They used to chase you through the valley till you passed out.

Do you remember those eyes?

Those eyes that haunted your childhood,

Those eyes the drove fear down your spine,

Those eyes that messed you up so much in the mind.

I remember them.

All of them.

I know you can’t hear me in that casket, Sis.

But you don’t need to fear those eyes any more.

I got rid of all of them.

All my flashlights too...

"I know you can’t hear me in that casket, Sis." this line just gets me because it wraps up the entire thing and to me shows the real sadness, but you make it so beautiful. good job
