The Heart Ain't a SteakA Chapter by WolfwindA fictional workPlease do not eat it! I only have just one. Please do not cut it with your knife! It will surely become undone. Why do you feel the need To hurt my heart so hard? Why do you make it bleed? I’m feeling so very weak... Yet you kiss me on the cheek And stab me to the core I shout out in pain! You stab again! My cries you ignore! Why are you so cruel? What makes you cut my heart out? Why do you hunger for my suffering? Am I just your cow? My heart another piece of meat That you love to mistreat?
Well remember this! When you have my heart steak upon your plate Smothered with the remnants of your so called love It’s the last part of me you’ll ever taste! For you’ll have killed me. I’ll be dead and gone. Gone like the wind... A wind that’s cold.. One that freezes... I hope you choke!
