Heartbroken

You say you love me
Yet you lie to me
You say you only want me
Yet you are with her time and again
Why am I not enough for you?
I’ve given myself completely to you
I thought you had done the same for me
I loved you and trusted you like no other
Why do you say you love me yet go to her arms?
You hurt me, nearly broke me with this knowledge
You ask me for another chance
I want to give you one I love you so much
I’m so scared that you’re going to hurt me again
We talked late into the night trying to fix things
I love you and think that you love me
But I need the sort of love I see my parents having
Can you give me that sort of selfless love?
You haven’t been able to so far it seems
I thought you could, you say you want to try
I’m confused and hurt not knowing what to do
Goddess please you brought him to me
Show me the way that will hurt the least
I love him with all my heart and soul
But now my heart is broken
Will it heal? Will he be the one to fix what he broke?
Goddess I pray you show me the way

I've been told that loving hearts never break; they are wounded and only bleed love to heal with love. i hope love heals the wounds of a loving heart. thank you for sharing
