How Delicious You AreA Poem by Wolf's InkA fun poem for my friend Caitlin
I found you behind the closed doors today
My heart seeking you with cravings that only you could fulfill There was the game you always wanted to play To find things and mix them together Into a concert of excitement for the senses. The cold and warm, hard and soft, the sticky... I often wonder which you liked best. You'd always preferred the wooden spoon And the work you put me through with it is always worth it. You had hard shells to crack, but that was needed All that sweetness you intended to hide from my cup,a tease And finding those kisses of darkness were a definite pleasure I couldn't help but sneak a bite Oh how you taste on my tongue My hot box was getting hotter by the moment Then came time for the insertion It has begun but the wait is unbearable with anticipation Oh to hang on until perfection was reached, I can barely hold on But then you gave me the signal and I smiled As I began to hold you delicately with my fingers Oh how I love you, my chocolate chip cookie. © 2016 Wolf's Ink |
