Mental Suicide

Mental Suicide

A Poem by Wolfie

She walks through the dark forest,
It's been years since the sun has said hello,
She trips over the roots of the wise old oaks,
She bleeds and bleeds, but she carries on
I'll be fine once I find my way out of here, right?

She lays in a field of thorns,
Surrounded by the ghosts of her past
each prick pierces her skin,
She bleeds and bleeds, but pretends nothing is wrong
If you ignore the problem, It will go away, right?

Gray clouds fill the sky,
Knives fall from the once fluffy clouds
As they fall, she can't help but wonder;
Why me?
She bleeds and bleeds, and she knows something is wrong
There is a problem, but it will stop,right?

The earth begins to shake as trees and plants alike fall,
Once stable ground, finally breaks
Earth beneath her fades into thin air,
as she falls into the black
She couldn't help but smile,
As she closes her eyes for the last time;
Her problem is finally gone
This was mental suicide
