FalloutA Poem by WolfieRelapsing from my "High"She climbed 100 stories high, Leaving the ground behind her When will she learn? The higher she climbed the further she fell. Sooner or later, she always lost her grip For she grew tired of climbing And her body was weak As she began to fall, She tried to prepare for impact, She had never fallen this far before But she knew her efforts were wasted, As the ground grows inches closer Bracing herself for impact, she was fearless Hitting the dark pavement could be fatal, This could be the end And she didn't really mind
