~Rose's Beauty~

This came from the top of my head, at 2:47 a.m. haha

Once, there lived a rose.

Being perfectly flawed,

she wasn't very much loved.

The wind whispered unkind words,

the rain drained her colors away,

and the birds showed her no mercy.

All because she was perfectly flawed.

 

Her only friend was the midnight crow.

He cooed to her,

"Everything is going to be okay."

The rose responded in a cry,

"How can you say everything will be okay,

 when all I am is all slowly wasting away?"

 

Her petals flowing away in the breeze,

her bright red bloom turning black,

as she starts to wilt to the dirt beneath her.

 

Till one day,

a woman was having a walk.

This woman was looking for a flower.

The rose knew she had no chance,

so she wilted down from the other flowers.

The cherry blossom trees swayed flawlessly,

but did not catch the woman's eye.

The dandilions spreeded their yellow wings out,

but did not catch the woman's eye.

 

The woman then saw the rose,

and picked her up off the dirt.

The woman, brought her inside,

and dressed her with a beautiful vase.

The woman set the rose by a window.

 

The rose wasn't sure what had just happened,

but happiness filled within her.

Her bright red vibe blossom glowed,

she stood nice and tall,

and her petals grew back.

 

She was still perfectly flawed, though.

Her petals were bruised and cut,

her leaves were rough,

and her thorns were dull.

But the woman never threw the rose away.

 

Once, there lived a rose.

Being perfectly flawed,

she wasn't very much loved.

But she loved by the true beings on Earth.

The ones who sought beauty within.
