She will returnA Poem by WoLfA short poem of an abandoned Teddy Bear's grasp on his abandonment.Eight years ago here I was laid
I remember her so vivid, long flowing hairs of braid.
She left for a moment, just a single moment
Now everyday since is pure torment.
She did not return
Never for truth to be learned.
I could hear the sound of her cries
Cries of joy perhaps I cannot remember
She was so kind, so tender.
I wish everyday, beg at every tick
That one day I will hear the snapping of a stick
One day she will come back
One day I will return to her, sit shelved above a plague
But how could I know, how was I suppose to see
I could hear the crack and the sound of the tree
It couldn’t be, if this is the truth…
I was not there to sleuth
The truth is yet to be seen
It can only be a dream.
I will wait forever
Throughout this tiring endeavor. © 2012 WoLfFeatured Review
