*~Changing~*

An old friend resurfaced after a couple years and he seemed...changed. I didn't know what to do, so I wrote.

You know me and I know you, that will never change.
But what has changed is what's going on inside.

Every time we talk, I can hear the change in your voice.
I can feel the sincerity of your every word, I can feel the emotion in each sentence.

I love you, I always have: I always will.
I miss you, I can't deny that much...

You love me, you say you'll never forget it.
You miss me, I know it's true...it's too hard to hide it.

I hope things will finally stop changing for us, but that's life. 

You can never truly change fate or destiny, they're both inevitable.
