This is just a poem about me.

Ever wonder... what truly lies behind these eyes of mine?

Ever wonder... what's hidden behind the grey-blue depths?

A confused and indecisive wolf, a creature with such potential.

An ever-wandering soul, so strong yet has been through so much.

 

Ever wonder... what it's like to be the second youngest of a spread out family?

Ever wonder... what I call my home, what I deal with daily...no matter what I do?

Try having to live up to so many high expectations, to be like those before me...A success.

Alas, with all the constant noise and frustration ever-growing it gets harder to be as they wish...

 

Ever wonder... what it's like to care only to be hated in return by one you've known all your life?

Ever wonder... what it's like to feel forgotten by your own family?

The days draw on, the nights feel empty... You feel alone even when you're not.

The goals feeling impossible to reach... Trying too hard or not hard enough.

 

Ever wonder... what I'm really like?

Ever wonder... who I really am deep inside?

An amazing intellectual with a heart of pure gold, yet held captive by none other than herself.

A girl with a war taking place in her subconscious mind, trying to break free & find her place in this arduous life.

 

Ever wonder... what my real emotions are?

Ever wonder... what I truly feel when I tell you, "I'm fine."?

I feel like curling up into a ball to hide from reality, to get away from it all.

I feel as though I don't belong anywhere, I feel as though I can't do anything right.

 

Ever wonder... what lies past the many flaws?

Ever wonder... how to judge me, how to figure me out?

My caring nature tends to cause complications for those around me at times.

I am not stupid, I'm rather intelligent... I just need to learn what's right from what's wrong.

 

There is no need to wonder anymore, for I am me.

I am unique, but also ever-changing for better or for worse.

I'm a good friend and will always be there for you when you need it most.

I am only myself, and I assure you, I will never ever quit being who I really am.
