Existence

Existence

A Poem by Charlie McEwan
"

Groundhog day in existence

"
I am hurt and alone
Your voice a bitter tone
I am sad and afraid
Homely dues never paid

In a space I cannot fit
love; I'm devoid of it
My heart made of stone
A Kingdom with no throne

A place where I tread
Words left unsaid
Lost living in my skin
To you; just a sin
