Night

Night

A Poem by Wolfe Greytome

Though I tried with all my might,
I could no longer fight,
And I became contrite.
Then I beheld a sight,
That caused me great delight,
As hope once more took flight.
And then it felt so right,
When with your eyes so bright,
You stole my heart this night.
