Passion Reignited

just playing around.....moving away from my standard poem form and trying something different......

Never did I feel so slighted,
Than when my Love was unrequited.

How could I have been so excited,
To seek as mine a heart so blighted?

Twas then that you were sighted,
And darkest night was lighted.

A Love once wronged has now been righted,
My heart became once more delighted.

As Passion's flame reignited,
Two Lovers' fates became united.
