You

You

A Poem by Wolfe Greytome

In this day its true,
My heart belongs to you.

Who'd have had a clue,
In our youthful years,
That I'd fall for you?

With these eyes of glacial blue,
Many sights I've seen,
The greatest sight is you.

In the morning's dew,
Pure beauty everywhere,
The most beautiful is you.

While I've been with a few,
No woman have I loved,
Till I fell in love with you.

I hope you never rue,
This love I hold for you.
