Stony Heart

Stony Heart

A Poem by Wolfe Greytome
"

Yet another quick, random piece that was inspired by absolutely nothing.

"

Shall I be lost to the unknown,

Doomed by my heart of stone?

As a man I've grown,

To recognize my faults -

One is my heart of stone.

The world I have shown,

The shallowness of soul,

Caused by my heart of stone.

To many shots I've blown,

Loves lost along the way,

To my heart of stone.

For much I must atone,

My stubborn pride foremost,

Fueled by my heart of stone.

Shall I forever walk alone,

Or melt my heart of stone?
