Battle Fury

Battle Fury

A Poem by Wolfe Greytome

Your choices are unclear,
Furious battle draws near.

A resounding crash you hear,
Of steel on flesh and bone,
The fury of battle draws near.

Our lines begin to shear,
Commanders gone to ground,
The fury of battle draws near.

Milling about in fear,
No one left to lead,
The fury of battle draws near.

Run like frightened deer,
Before those screaming hordes,
The fury of battle draws near.

In your hands a spear,
The fury of battle is here.
