The Peaceful Realms

The Peaceful Realms

A Poem by Wolfe Greytome

Each culture has a name,

By which they call the peaceful realms,

I prefer to say The Eternal Hunt.

Others would like to feast,

Among the heroes bold,

Who dwell in Odin's Hall.

After Life's cold winter,

Many seek the warmth,

Found in the Summerlands.

Those with the wanderlust,

Insatiable in even Death,

May find their feet upon the Starry Path.

Known by many names,

The most common is simply:

Heaven.

Such a beautiful heartfelt piece. Expressed extremely well. The flow and the rhyme completely impeccable. Excellent job.
