The Druid's Glare

The Druid's Glare

A Poem by Wolfe Greytome

You need to be aware,
And avoid the Druid’s glare.

In his forest lair,
His powers multiply,
Avoid the Druid’s glare.

The strength of will is rare,
To look him in the eye,
Avoid the Druid’s glare.

You will get a scare,
From that burning gaze,
Avoid the Druid’s glare.

With your heart laid bare,
And your soul at stake,
Avoid the Druid’s glare.

You must take care,
To avoid the druid’s glare.

Ah! I see now this format is a style for you that echoes in all of the writes you posted here. Honestly it works. It has good flow and rhyme and none of the poems are hard to read. You have really strong imagery in the non-repeating lines. If I had a suggestion it would be to throw out all of the repetition, shorten it up, and strike harder with your more original lines. I'll keep an eye out for future writes. Great work. Keep on writing!

There really isn't much to tell about me. I write poetry because I like to play with words. I am writing a series of fantasy novels because I got tired of the predictability of that genre. I tend to u.. more..
