Make A Stand

Make A Stand

A Poem by Wolfe Greytome
"

Hope is always there - sometimes you just have to wait for it.

"

Life rarely goes as planned,
You need to make a stand.

You’re like a rubber band,
Stretched beyond the limit,
Time to make a stand.

Poor cards can form a hand,
That still will win the pot,
Time to make a stand.

Luck is like the sand,
Often shifting underfoot,
Time to make a stand.

Self-doubt must be banned,
To rise from dark despair,
Time to make a stand.

The flame of hope is fanned,
When you make a stand.
