Keeping Me Here

Keeping Me Here

A Poem by Wolfe Greytome

With the sun on your hair
And your voice in my ear
You're what's keeping me here.
While comforting me
And pulling me away from the pier
You're what's keeping me here.
By grabbing my hand
And holding me near
You're what's keeping me here.
Scolding all of those
Who stop to peer
You're what's keeping me here.
By standing with me
And destroying my fear
You're what's keeping me here.
With all of your love
And one streaming tear
You're what's keeping me here.

First thank you for your comments on Rose Woman. Now I must say this was beautiful , it reminded me of an old friend of mine who never wanted a relationship because she did not want to be " Tied Down" if only she could see that when someone engages our senses we do not need to be tied to stay.
