Take A Blow

Take A Blow

A Poem by Wolfe Greytome
"

A poem meant to demonstrate the power of perseverance in the face of adversity.

"

The world you must show,
You can take a blow.

The punishment starts to flow,
Now rest against the ropes,
You can take a blow.

The line you must toe,
Meet him face to face,
You can take a blow.

That punch was awful low,
Way beneath the belt,
You can take a blow.

It's over soon you know,
This rain of lefts and rights,
You can take a blow.

His arms begin to slow,
The end is almost here,
You can take a blow.

A single punch you throw,
He can't take the blow.

standing and facing the enemy is what we must do
Our own worst enemy is ourself.
But we can face anything with faith and guidance.
There's truth in the end.
That is what is tough to face for some people
I like this.
This is what i gathered from this write.
Well said here
