Authors Note:  The Nothingness: Part II is Fantasy but might be better described as (Spiritual Philosophy) Any suggestions or observations will be welcome.  It is not required to read part one as I have included a synopsis at the beginning, however, part one is worth reading as a synopsis cannot fill in all the gaps.

Synopsis of Part I

What has gone on before:

The male aspect of God was composed of the energies of Chaos and what our science might consider Antimatter.  He had no consciousness until an event happened.  That event was a tear in the Space Time Continuum.  When he approached the tear he saw her.  She was his exact opposite.  Whereas he was composed of unbridled and uncontrolled energies based on Antimatter, she was composed of order and positive energies that had been channeled into a huge glowing sphere.  He realized immediately that he could not approach her, for there diametrically opposed energies would cause the destruction of both.  Yet despite this, when he realized she was watching him also, he put on displays of energy and prowess to keep her at the tear so he could at least interact at the point of the fissure.  He became frustrated that she retreated every time he approached and started to ignore her.  There was an explosion, followed a little later by a second one.  Upon investigation, he realized that she had thrown small balls of matter into the nothingness that surrounded his chaos.  He also realized that she wanted him too and was trying to tell him something.  When he tried to approach the spheres however turned to ash.  He realized that the next move was up to him, but was frustrated for he had no ideas what move to make.

The Nothingness: Part II

Interactions

Now:

All the spheres were gone now.  They were all ash, and he still had no concept of what she was trying to tell him, or show him as the case may be.  He had tried sneaking up on them.  He had tried rushing up to them.  He had tried to just gently touching them, but the result was still the same.  He had however learned several things; he just did not know how they applied.   The larger spheres were perfect and flawless in their creation.  The smaller spheres orbited the larger spheres by a means he could not discern.  The problem was that looking at them from the outside yielded no insights.   It was impossible to view their composition without being able to actually come in contact with them.  He could not come into contact with them without turning them to ash.

She was there.  She was there waiting for him to figure it out.

He had learned his lesson about rushing over to meet her.  She was attracted to him as he to her, yet he sensed she was a little afraid of him.  He could understand that.  She was ordered and thoughtful, whereas he was chaotic and impulsive. She feared in his impulsiveness he would destroy them both.

As he grew in his thought processes these were revelations that came to him; and the revelations were coming faster now.  He no longer became discorporate when the revelations came, or when she did something new, that was at least a change.  It seemed that her very definition was defining him. He had more experience now and he felt he was growing with every interaction he had with her.  Time was irrelevant to the Nothing and the Something but perhaps eons, decades, or centuries, had passed.  He was ready to try again.

He approached the fissure slowly, so she would not retreat.  Now he was on one side and her on the other. Were it possible to touch without destruction, he could have reached out and caressed her as he desperately wanted to.  He made a beckoning motion with his energies and then retreated a safe distance from the fissure.  She giggled, which he now recognized, and thought was the most beautiful thing she did.  It could not be classified as a sound, but more as a received emphatic emotion.  He laughed back at her, or with her, and her colors blushed a moment shifting into the infrared spectrum.  He loved that about her.  The expected explosion came a moment later.

This Sphere was even more beautiful then the last one.  It was perfectly symmetrical and had nine smaller spheres surrounding it.  The nine smaller spheres orbited on one plane of existence; that was different.  He was becoming excited because he was beginning to understand that the different spheres she sent were of different natures.  The ones before had been much smaller for instance, and seemed to follow different laws.  The Nothingness pondered.

He surrounded the Spheres just out of destruction range so he could view them from all angles at once.  The center sphere seemed to be the parent of the smaller spheres, yet the composition of the larger sphere seemed to be different than that of the lesser.   In fact these spheres were nothing like any she had sent before.  Another revelation hit him then.

These spheres were composed of the energies of all the other spheres she had sent before.  From the tiniest micros sphere to the largest, they were interlocked together to make these new ones.  Yet the parent sphere was different from the smaller in that it had much more of the smaller spheres composing it then the larger.  What was more, while the smaller spheres seemed complete; the larger sphere seemed to be lacking something.

This was so frustrating, he needed to look further, inside, not outside, yet to do so would destroy them.  But what if he, that is, could he perhaps enter if he shielded them from direct contact.  Yes, that was it.  In order to see the smaller spheres that composed the larger, he would have to become smaller himself.  He heard her giggle again, so he knew he was on the right track.  He became smaller-smaller, and still smaller yet.

The spheres were now gigantic; smaller yet.  They were enormous; smaller yet. They were now gargantuan and he was able to slip into the middle of one of the smaller spheres.  They were amazing.  They were composed of, of; well let’s call them ‘Atoms, yes that is a good term.  The atoms interlocked with each other to form; to form umm, a kind of matter; yes we’ll call it Matter.

He visited the other of the eight spheres one by one and found them to be the same and yet different.  The atoms composing them had different relations to each other, yet all of them formed what he now called matter.  It was time to see what the big sphere was made of.

He approached it but even though it was enormously larger, the atoms composing it were much denser in composition.  In fact, there were spheres even smaller then atoms inside it.  These he would call Quarks.  Their movements were much more rapid; almost as rapid as the chaos he was composed of.  In fact, these quarks were more similar to him then anything else he had seen.  He retreated to ponder.

He knew he had come to a new revelation yet the import of it still escaped him.  He held the image of the quarks in his mind as a bright shining beacon and studied it.  Then it came to him.  He had been looking for the differences instead of the similarities.  He needed to explore both but this was wearing and he needed a diversion to get all these thoughts together.  He slowly approached the fissure and indicated he wanted to play.

How do Gods play you ask?  The answer is they play like Gods.  He would put on beautifully intricate shows of chaos for her forming patterns of energy.  She would form her matter into intricate shapes and colors each more beautiful to him then the ones before.  Finally his thoughts freed from their play, came together.  It was time to see what he was made of, literally.

He retreated a safe distance from the fissure and began to diffuse.  He heard what might be construed as a gasp from her before he lost awareness of her.   For he was going where no God had gone before, he was going inside himself.  He was beautiful.  He was in his own way as beautiful as her.  He was lost for a moment, eon, century, whatever, consumed in his own glory.  He looked deeper… deeper.

There it was.  It was the exact opposite of the quark he held shining in his mind.  He now knew what it was that bothered him about the larger sphere.  It was incomplete, just as he was incomplete without her.  He retreated but not far.  Yes they were here, they were here; he was elated.  They were the equal and opposing particles of hers and he now knew how they could interact.

If the particles came in contact without restriction it would destroy them both.  Yet, if this quark as he called it came in contact with its opposite there would be a different reaction.  They would in fact null each other and change the laws that governed them allowing them both to exist in the same space.  It would make two realities with a common ground.

He was so excited that he put on a show for her so intricate and convoluted so as to keep her plastered to the fissure watching in awe.  She knew; she knew that he had figured it out.  Hope sprang eternal and her dream of being together with him was one step closer.  He approached the spheres again.

This must be done very carefully; very carefully indeed.  If it was done wrong he would be destroyed by the reaction.  It could start a chain reaction inside of him that would consume him, and then she would be alone.  More then the fear of being completely discorporate, he feared what she might come to if he destroyed himself.  This was because he knew now that she loved him as much as he did her.  He feared she would find a way to discorporate herself if she could no longer interact with him.

He formed a law.  He surrounded the spheres with his being and pushed not with his energies but with the nothingness which surrounded his energies.  He pushed the smaller spheres with his mind until it all became one vast ball.  He looked on it lovingly for now it resembled his love.  On the other side of the fissure the Goddess was dancing, changing shapes and colors and he felt her love and pride overflowing him.  He made a probe of nothingness and inserted it into the sphere.

Careful, carefully he thrust to the center of the sphere locating the certain quark that he needed.  He now had a tunnel of nothingness leading to that certain quark which looked like, well, lets call it an Egg.  The tube in place he separated its opposite from his essence and gave it a little push.  As it shot down the tube a little tail formed behind it.  It hit and entered the quark.  There was an explosion and that was the last he knew for a while.

While I cannot fathom the thoughts of Gods and Goddesses, and neither can you, I will do my best to recreate the processes and thoughts that they had.  Putting such thoughts into human terms is kind of paltry, yet I am a writer so here is my version of what happened next.  Her thought will be in asterisk, and his in quotations.

‘Can you hear me, are you ok?’ “Huh” ‘You can hear me, oh my Love, you can really hear me.’ “Yes beloved… I can hear you. We are now communicating through the mixing of our essence”  ‘I was afraid, afraid that it was too much and you were now discorporate.  It was… so bright, and the, the energies of yours they diffused for so long.’ “I too feared my Love, but I could not stand this, this apartness.”  ‘Oh my Love!’

From her side of the fissure and he on his own, they both gazed at what they had created together.  He had created law to compliment and interact with the laws which she had created.  The end result was spectacular.  The large sphere had completely changed in nature and now burned with its own energies in the void of nothingness.  There were now the same nine spheres, yet they were transforming.  The matter composing them had become molten and they both watched in amazement as they cooled and formed.  Even though the surface cooled the cores of them would remain molten for centuries, millennium, whatever.  It was just a beginning, because now that they were formed, they could make new laws for them, change them; build upon them.  The best part though was now they could communicate through the mixing of their laws.

“I am recovered now, and it is time to take the next step.”  ‘Yes my Love, even if it destroys us both, it would be better than being apart.  I want to exist together, with you, or not at all.’  “So mote it be”

Can a God be afraid?  Why not?  If we are made in the image of the God and or Goddess, then do we not inherit our emotions from our creators?  So I say it was with some trepidation that he approached the fissure this time.  It was all she could do to keep the fear from making her retreat, for love of him, for desire, she forced herself to stay.  Still she almost retreated as the funnel of nothingness extended from the fissure and approached her.  She had to force herself to let the funnel enter her essence.  Yet at that moment of entry a pleasure built and so consumed both of them that either of them almost became dis-corporate.  The pleasure increased as he probed and retreated only to probe again.

Channeling all his energies into one purpose he released a comet tailed burst of quarks into the tunnel to seek their opposites.  The pleasure increased a million fold with the release.  It now shot down the tunnel at speeds which I with my humble word cannot begin to describe.  Her pleasure increased she thrust her matter against the fissure in a frenzy of indescribable ecstasy.  Her matter exploded into a million, zillion, quadrillion, (whatever) pieces, and his energies and nothingness surrounded her with bliss.

Where before there had been only her, and only him, they were now one and yet separate.  They were now the sum of all their contained energies and matter and irrevocably part of each other.  Now they needed no means of communication for their thoughts were permanently interlinked; though each thought still belonged to each their own.  They were the sum of creation and the universe was formed from their conjunction.   What went on next however is up to your own imagination, or perhaps to mine, for part three of The Nothingness will deal with the forming of the Son of God, the lesser Gods, The Angels, , and the separation of the heavens and the earth.  Or heck, maybe each will have its own chapter.  I guess you will just have to wait and see.

Seems quite deep, really. A few grammar 'mistakes' here and there -- only a few commas are missed from what I could tell, but other than this, I feel like you really capture the feeling of deep thinking that went into the creation of universe, the union of two perfect opposites, of the creation of that which should not have been. Overall, a great creation in my opinion, I really do hope you keep on going with this, and here's to you mate! *Somehow manages to tip his oversized fedora in a congratulating manner*

Cheers, mate!
