It is not a poem; nor is it a haiku. Perhaps it is an abstract thought. Kind of like an abstract painting, but painted with words. That way it does not have to make sense to exist. Lol. Wolf

I am writing a critique.

I am now critiquing.

Am I not a Critiquer?

An interesting write for me, for various reasons.... I am guessing this one might be based on what you have stated in your About me page ^^ And for me this speaks in volumes. I like the brevity. And honestly doesn't have to make sense every time one writes (to everybody that is. after all that would be quite the write if one could achieve that ^^ ) Thank you for sharing ^^

Laughing...ya, why did they call it critic? I'm with you, make a new dictionary and add critiquer :)
Make it the title of a new write, you have a poetic license to do so. And, by the way...nice to meet you. Welcome to WC :)

yes, it should be a word...and on some sites if we are not a "critiquer" but someone who simply responds as to how poems affect us, how we relate...we are considered useless to the site....

as on penwrights...i am not surprised the site folded...there was a clique there which was hard to break into...and there were people like two idiots who seemed like four idiots....:)

i like the insight of your short piece, very much....and i think you will like it here at WC...it's a home...

I think critiquer is a wonderful word and should be added to the vocabulary instantly; after all, Shakespeare invented the best part of 2,000 words, so one more won't go amiss. :))

That's a good point, I guess the best answer I can give is that yes we al publish and do our own thing.
But I think people have a natural hunger to help others.
And to make ourselves and them usually benefitted in the process.
So I think that's why the critic critiques.

Perhaps it is because you are operating int realm of a critic who offers his critique of others writing, etc. ... Such would then render you a Literary Crtic, which is the correct term, though I have no concept of why the English language has, thus far, declined to accept critiquer as a viable word ... Interesting concept ...
