Things could change...

I didn't know you

You didn't know me

We were strangers

Forever now you see

Until you came to me

Searching for hope

Searching for love

All you did was

Approach me

That winter night

Cold Snows

I didn't know you

You didn't know me

We were strangers

Forever now you see

We were colder

Than the snow that fell

That winter night

I wanted to hold you

But one problem

I didn't know you

You didn't know me

We were strangers

Forever now you see

There was no changing that

Colder than the order

Order of strangers

 I didn't know you

We were strangers

But now we are partners

No longer colder

No longer strangers

I know you

You know me

We are partners

I like the development of the repeating lines through the poem, to the end where it changes surprisingly- much like it does suddenly, when strangers aren't strangers anymore, and you wonder when that changed. I also like the "forever now you see" which foreshadows the future, and what is coming at the end of the poem. A very deep and fascinating poem.
