Boy of her Dreams

Boy of her Dreams

A Story by Starr
"

One dream, lost to the lies of the world...

"
That outcast of a boy that has those shabby clothes and freckles splattered across his face. The one you shoved into a wall and locked him in a dark closet for a whole day. The one that you kicked and broke his arm that Tuesday. Yes, the one that you hit and crushed below your lies... well his funeral is today. He decided that no one loved him enough and he was born during the wrong time. His momma found him in the bathroom, he wasn't breathing and it looked like a murder scene. She tried to wake him, but he was far too gone. You are going to be charged with murder, yes, you and all of your friends. That was her only child, she had 5 miscarriages before him. She almost killed herself because she thought she would never have a child of her own. Now she has to see his lifeless body in a cold casket, no more life from him. She won't even let you come to his funeral because you killed him. You ruined his perfect life all because you were unhappy with yours. I hope you can live with yourselves...

That is a very sad story, it pulls the heart strings as any good piece of writing is meant to. If only i could say it was only fiction but unfortunately events such as these are common, especially when there is bullying involved. Thank you for expressing this in your piece, it was well written.

This was perfectly depressing but also very powerful. I hope more people could read this because this is a reality for some people around the world. This struck me right to the heart that I almost forgot that this was just another one of works. I really liked this one, well done.

Well, Thank you so much!
This is a very sad story, but an all to real one for many unfortunate souls. I enjoy reading these, not because I'm a horrible person, but because I like when writers understand the truths ad reality of things. I feel like so many people lead others to take their lives and, in my opinion, I think they they should be punished be punished for it. It's not enough to say "Well, see what happened to that kid? Don't hurt anyone anymore." I don't think that works on many people. Sorry about my rant but I really did like your writing.

Thanks, I will have more added later!
Powerful! I am impressed with the poem's story, so tragic. It is both a tear puller and makes one enraged at the injustice.
