It's just her and I walking around and holding hands. We stop at our usual spot: A large tree in between the yards. We climb up and sit in the tree and climb up higher until we reach our favorite branch. I sit against the tree trunk and she accommodates herself in my arms. The feeling is great and I close my eyes feeling relaxed. When I opened them, I was in my room. "Damn, it was a dream…" I mumbled. I had woken up to three sounds: Here in Your Arms by HelloGoodbye blasting from my radio, the house alarm, and the sound of glass breaking. I stood fast and grabbed my BB gun. I walked out slow thinking I can surprise the intruder and get them down long enough for the authorities to arrive and take care of the rest. Right when I reached the end of the hallway, a trigger pulls behind me. I open my eyes. I am lying in the grass in the airfield. I stand up and notice my friends are all beside me. We decide to go on a walk. I shake myself off. What an odd dream. A dream in a dream..? The air is cold and crisp around me so I shrugged it off and enjoyed it along with the company of my mates. I heard a riffle c**k followed by gunfire. At first, it made me jump. I then remembered it was hunting season and the airfield was perfect for the lazy rednecks in my block. A few more gunshots sounded and I waved them off. Finally another one sounded and the bullet pierced my heart. My eyes opened again and I gasped for breath. I was in a hospital. Why? "Andrew! Andrew! You're finally awake!" My father suddenly exclaimed. He hugs me tightly and I look at him confused. He aged a lot. I looked at what I could see of myself and gasped. I was wrinkly and old too. "How long have I been out?" I asked nervously. "Thirty-five years." He tells me slowly. "I'm f-f-fifty-two!?" I yell. The machines next to me start beeping and I begin to feel light headed. Again, I'm out. Or was it really again? Was I still asleep? Was it real? I wake to my girlfriend's beautiful face next to me, running her fingers through my hair. I look at my clothes and my body. I'm still seventeen… I sighed in relief. I hear her chuckle so I smile and look up. When I did, I saw my pocket knife in her hand and it ran into my face. I open my eyes again and gasp out. I take a few deep breaths and look around. I am in a white room. It has a bed, a table with my art and writing and a television with my PS3 and games. There's a window too. Small with iron bars. A woman dressed in a nurse outfit comes in with a large tray with a bowl of cereal, small cup with six or seven pills and folded up clothing. I quickly go up to her. "Am I awake!?" I wail to her. She looks at me with slight fear in her eyes and takes a step back. I step closer. "Please! Tell me!" I cry. "Doctor Nosblold!" She calls out in fright. Quickly a man comes in and puts a needle to my thigh. Quickly a liquid shoots into my body and I begin to feel drowsy and weak then I am out like a light. I awake again in the same room. It is dark and the moon is out outside. Is this what's become of me? It's not possible. "It's not possible! I'm not crazy!" I wail to myself. "Yes, you are." I hear a voice. The voice of my girlfriend. I turn and the next I see is silver and soon darkness. The nightmare ends. Or does it really?
