Hidden ScarsA Poem by Wngn8Almost everyone you meet out their is smiling, but a lot of people cary hidden scars and tears behind the mask.
I felt a bump when i leaned on the wall
And slide swiftly till I felt the floor I sat quite - before i sang Tapping the cardboard in my grasp Then I stared into the tainted glass Where I saw a blossoming girl Smiling like she don't know The bleeding wounds are eating through her flesh Forgetting the tears she shed ever night To sleep with a lighter heart I felt a bump when I leaned on the wall And grind swiftly scratching my healing sore wounds Murmuring slowly Tears racing down my cheeks Then I stared into the distanced Watching myself get a whipping For little nothings they call kid's mistakes I watched my soul fly away from me Untill it turned into a tiny little dot A full stop - end of story As I got waked up by a slap © 2024 Wngn8Author's Note
