Caves

Caves

A Poem by Wngn8

Caves are lovely
I crawled out of one last time
To see the shining sun
Before I moved my luggage
Into the cave till my last gasp

The dampness of the air
And the quite days
Followed by nights full of chipping crickets
Erase the honking traffic noise
Tranquility is here
And I tell you today
Caves are celestial
