Samantha

Bzzzzzzz. Bzzzzzzz. Bzzzzzzz. Huh what’s that it is annoying. My eyes snap open as I realize what it is! Shoot I am going to be late for school! I rush to get my shirt and pants on as I head down stairs, grab a breakfast bar out of the cabinet swing my bag over my shoulder and rush out the door. As soon as I get out of my front door I run James Williams my best friend since first grade.

 

 Oh I probably forgot to mention I am Samantha J. Anderson, a 16 year old with a mother who is always at work and whom I barely see. I am fair skinned with light hazel eyes and darkish blonde hair, 5ft 10in and a semi-muscular build. Never knew my father, who left when I was born, Jack Windigo.

 

James is 6ft 4in, built like the kind of jock you would see in a movie, broad shoulders, muscular body, short dark brown hair, eyes so brown they almost look black. Light darkish skin, and perfect teeth.

Do you have a plan for this book already? I find it easier to write if I have a layout of how I want my book to progress before actually writing it. Make sure you know what your conflict is and expand on that. Take time to think about ideas on how to build up to that conflict and how it should be resolved.
