Kingdom Come

Kingdom Come

A Poem by WitheredWhite

They announce their arrival at the gates

Where on hands and knees the misled await

Praising the ground of disgraced lands

Seeking repentance like meek little lambs

The Fore-sworn clash sword and blow their horns

They are the ones to lead this war

The Righteous fight to get ahead

While the Innocents bleed to honor the dead

The graves of their families the poor will dig

While the Damned will devour and bathe in pig

Build your arcs as the blood-rivers swell

HARK, Young Bloods! Hear the bells!

Through many nights they have tolled

Each one once, for each lost soul

They were led astray, and turned away

Forgot which Coward they had to pay

None shall prosper, and none shall gain

Until this Dragon has been slain.
