When I think of you...

--When I think of you... I get lost in myself and become the me that exists within you and the me I hope to be for you--

When I think of you,

I think of deep blue water,

a giant sea of water.

I think of green fish

Swimming between its waves

And rustling against my face

When they jump towards the skies.

They are free when they fly high

So very free and green

Their scales shimmer like the green sea

The green sea that lives in your eyes

The green sea that makes me lie

Awake at night

Thinking of the time

When that deep sea was right

And it was wholly mine.

When I think of you

My legs grow weak 

While I become adrift

In the waves of your sweet,

Sweet soft lips.

Lips that are like honey

And make me woozy

As if liquor and music

Could make me waver.

But I'm not a child

And I know this is right

To love you is not a crime

Or a blight

And the green sea now lives within me

So there is no point in running away from it.
