For... Me

For... Me

A Poem by Tiny Drop
"

Rantings of a broken, lonely, regretful me.

"
"Forgive me"
One whisper.
Cold tears of loneliness as I lay beside you.
Glassy wide eyes which peer into nothingness.
A sickly sweet voice that whispers slowly.
"See me"
The rustle of sheets coming undone.
A sinister smile which plagues the silence.
A whimper like that of a child as it cries.
"Love me"
The fake smile that precedes the slap.
The cold hard floor which embraces me in its arms.
The broken pieces of my happy self.
"Heal me"
The ragged cries and the long arguments.
The crazed laughter and empty promises.
My beautiful face but rotten heart.
"Fix me"
My broken legs that once walked.
My soft arms which have now grown numb.
The silky skin that has now turned into a decaying cloth.
"Carry me"
A broken word and a large portion of nonsense.
Weak rantings like that of a drunk.
Whispers and chants of a little infant.
"Hear me"
But in the end if being me bothers you.
I'll just leave like a little rustle of wind.
Swiftly, as long as you.
"Forgive me"

Glad you enjoyed my words. When I wrote it I was afraid it would come across as too depressing since.. read more
What a powerful movement, a dance across time, longing for yesterdays, suffering sorrows in the now. And these echoed words, the letters in colored sighs, they seem like a song that rises somewhat parallel with the soul, trying to find comfort, relief, peace, healing. Maravilhosa.
