An angel is sent to earth to convert and spread her faith. But what happens when she begins to doubt her own faith? A story of friendship, love, and true good and evil.
I really enjoy where this story is going so far. I haven't had time to read the entire thing yet as I have been very busy, but from what I have read, it was very engaging from the start (at least to me) and I actually want to keep reading. I like the innocence of Clariana and how she is exploring and learning about the world she has been thrust into and her constant introspective view is great character development. Your main character has a well defined and dynamic personality, making her a very believable individual; for me that is the most important part of any story. Perhaps I am not quite far enough in to see it yet, but some of your other characters seem a little lacking in this department, but that's just how I am seeing it.

The church characters or the other characters later on in the story? Because for the church people, that was on purpose because they aren't going to be in the story that long.

They seem very present in the first couple chapters without really having a purpose and they never talk at all; that might just me me, though, I tend to read everything from a screenwriter’s perspective. I’m not too worried about it because I’m assuming they are going to be more involved moving forward. Also, I’m curious about the point-of-view shift between chapters 7 and 8; it was a little jarring and just didn’t quite feel right. I’m all for getting a demon’s side of the story but he doesn’t feel conflicted enough to justify putting him in 1st person; again, this is just me, but I might have chosen third person for that.

Yeah, i'll probably edit that. I'm better at 1st person.
