Heart Lock

Verse I:

My heart is breaking, into small little pieces.

You catch them in your hands and let them price your skin open.

I don’t see you flinch, nor do you see me cry.

I all see is a smile that shows me you’re all right.

But you look up at me, and see right through.

I call out your name, but nothing is ever heard.

Chorus I:

I need to get out of here, I can’t stand it without you.

I did this to myself, blame it on me.

Don’t worry, I’m fine, I lie through me teeth.

 

Verse II:

I stay in my little world, where the darkness never ends.

I can see the light, shinning in your soul, the part of me, which will never let go.

I look at mine, and see the darkness inside, the thing and haunts me for the rest of our lives.

My soul will never come out, it will never return.

But I can live, of that’s how you want me too.

The darkness may be around me, but I can see all the light just by looking at you.

You lighten up my day, just by getting a glimpse at you.

Chorus II:

Verse III:

I know you don’t love me back, and that’s ok.

I’m not worthy enough, to let you say those words to me.

I’m bound to the upper skies, where it says the night.

When you’re always around the light that draws me closer.

From this cage I want us to break free.

Forever to run that's all it can be.

Such ana mazing song write. I really enjoyed this write. Amazing flow to this as well. Such an enjoyable read.
