Heartache

I had to write some poems for school, so this is one of my free verse. It's short but, oh well.

My heart was broken for a long time

 

There was a hole the size of a dime

 

I sat there and cried

 

While you ran around and lied

 

Then he came and brightened my day

 

And he said things would be okay
